The first time we met with Sophia and her mother, Lisa at their beautiful home nestled in a private ocean cove off the North Shore of MA, we completely fell in love with not only the bride to be, but the setting. The house is elegant with the perfect touch of whimsy, and it proved to be an absolutely stunning back drop to Sophia and Danny’s wedding.
The day started perfectly sunny (lots of cheers of joy as the weather was calling for rain!), and just as the ceremony began, the most perfect mist rolled in off of the water, creating some seriously magic lighting (I mean, these photos!). Guests enjoyed cocktails on the lawn, followed by the an amazing dinner and dancing under a sailcloth tent.
The highlight of the evening came when Sophia and Danny settled into their seats, and Sophia’s Dad, Chris, launched into his toast. I guess when your Father is the author of the The Polar Express, you can pretty much promise whatever he would write for his only daughter on her wedding day would be outstanding. And it was.
